Description
with vertical bands of white and green
evergreen perennial with brilliant yellow
as a sedative
Quite a people who write about it seem unable to distinguish between a garden thug and an invasive plant
In mid-to-late summer
Lobelia angulata Lobelia with vertical bands of white(aka: Pratia angulata) We have really enjoyed this wonderful semi evergreen groundcover lobelia from New Zealand in our garden for decades. The zig zag black stems are clothed with tiny round leaves forming a nice 1" tall, ground hugging mat. The patch is topped with small white flowers from late spring through early summer great for the rock garden and very tolerant of moist conditions in full to part sun, where it's tolerant of light foot traffic
