2023 Clusel-Roch ‘Traboules’ Coteaux du Lyonnais, France Starlight Distillery A single-vineyard Chardonnay from theClusel Roch is one of Cte Rties top producers, and this is their Beaujolais style (and Beaujolais adjacent) bottling of Gamay. It's sourced from the Coteaux du Lyonnais appellation tucked between the southern end of Beaujolais and the northern tip of the Rhne valley. Despite it's generous dark fruit, theres a dash of something meaty and peppery in this wine that feels very Cte Rtie; a reminder of this appellation sits so firmly between the two
