Added to the wine made from this block are barrels destined for the Estate bottling that are deemed more suitable for earlier drinking

2023 Dominique Lafon Champgain, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru, France Icy Liu The palate is supple andChampgain is sourced from a steep, mid slope plot famed for its limestone rich soils; Lafons sustainably farmed vines produce fruit for this wine. Grapes are hand harvested and whole cluster pressed, then spontaneously fermented in barrel before maturing for 12 months in oak (20% new). The wine then rests for 6 months in tank, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Arrives the last week July, 2025.
