Famille Hugel Alsace Riesling Estate 2019 070226CRISP OESK uses the 'E' mashHugel has been making wine in Riquewihr since 1639 twelve generations of one of Alsace's foundational families. The Estate Riesling is a step above their Classic bottling, drawn from carefully chosen parcels including grand cru sites like Schoenenbourg and a touch of Sporen. 2019 was an exceptional vintage in Alsace, and the wine reflects it: beautifully dry (around 3 g L residual sugar), saline and mineral, with a smoky earthy edge and ripe citrus
