2024 Domaine Daniel Dampt et Fils Petit Chablis, Burgundy, France Massican 100 days of hangtime providedDrawn from high, wind brushed parcels on Portlandian limestone around Chablis, this Chardonnay is hand harvested, pressed gently, and fermented cool in stainless steel to lock in cut. It rests on fine lees through winter (no oak), completes malolactic for texture, and is bottled early for clarity. The 2023 is brisk and salinelemon and green apple over chalk dust and oyster shell snapwith a clean, mouth watering finish that screams bistro and shellfish.
