BK Wines Adelaide Hills Chardonnay Gin Gin 2020 ABC321 The wine underwent full malolactic100% Chardonnay Gin Gin clone, the oldest in Australia, planted on sandstone soils with lots of quartz at 500 meters. Hand harvested and direct pressed to French oak barrique, 20% of which are new. The wine underwent full malolactic, with fortnightly (thats every two weeks) battonage for 8 months after which is was racked and bottled. Reminiscent of the Jura due to its slightly oxidative nose (think cashew nuts) and notes of Juniper berries and alpine
