Vinification Method: Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed
the wine is fermented with indigenous yeast
Mauzac and Chenin along with a massal selection of Côt de Touraine
they undergo a cuvaison of approximately two weeks in stainless steel before being racked into a mixture of large and small barrels for an extensive aging period of 30 to 36 months before being bottled (without filtration)
2022 Yann Bertrand Julienas '...100%' Beaujolais, France Macatho Vino dives into the dynamicJulinas is the furthest north cru of the Beaujolais and has a unique terroir from the better known crus to the south. Yann was inspired to produce Julinas because the terroir is rather unknown and also because he forged a relationship with a passionate grower of grapes in the village.
