Force of Nature, Folk Carved Native American Woman with Long Braid and Decoration Everywhere old tool handles I think the construction isI LOVE her, small but with the presence and posture of a powerful force, holding her space and not to be moved. I found her in mid coast Maine but don't know more than that clearly representing a Native American woman, with long black braid and painterly decoration all over (a bit hard to tell but seems some combination of crayon and paint.) Smooth surface, terrific patina, I would guess 1920s 40s. Stands on her own, steady and sturdy on her feet. 5"
