This is notably finer than the old vines cuvée if not quite a long or concentrated

On the palate this is a fascinating wine of power and intensity yet without weight or heaviness

Pibran other_regions_italy I much prefer the 2010A sleeper of the vintage in many a year, the 2005 Pibran is once again a very successful wine. Dense opaque purple, with loads of crme de cassis fruit, licorice and incense, the wine is medium to full bodied, beautifully pure, and should hit full maturity in about 3 4 years and last at least 15 20.
