第3号は、フランス人フォトグラファー、ロマン・ラプラード（Romain Laprade）に焦点を当て、そのレンズを通してセネガルの首都であるダカールの街を通観する。クリストファー・ニケは、 ロマン・ラプラードが創り出す構成的でありながらも伸びやかな作品に対し、長らく心を惹かれていた。2人は、ダカールの特定の建築物をプロジェクトのテーマとして決めるも、実りのないまま数ヶ月が過ぎ、街を探索することろから始めた。2022年夏、作者はダカールに数日間滞在し、自身が拠点とするパリにいる間に選んだ場所をまずは散策、徐々に直感に従い自分の足で街の魅力を掘り下げていき、何日もかけて建築物を撮影していった。その結果生まれたイメージは、建築的な奇跡や驚きに満ちた場所への静寂なオマージュとなった。本号において作者は、建物や個人邸宅のファサードなど、西アフリカの大都市が持つ折衷的な美しさを捉え、常に進化し続ける都市、歴史と美しさに溢れたこの場所を情緒的かつ抽象的なポートレイトとして描いている。
