I believe he dates to the early 1950s and is in good shape

snout made all the better with a smattering of freckles

providing context for posterity--a 1907 copy ofthe Otago Witness

And these two look to have a lot of affection for each other. With what looks to be a barn in the distance, and a tin can floating in the water at lower right. 5 3 8" x 3 3 8". Good condition, general light soiling, unused postcard back. Earlyish 20th century.
