Leather is dry and shows lots of cracking

With wonderful inlaid mother of pearl at center of the lid, framed by more nails that extend out to form crosses, and what I believe are two urns with flowers on reverse, facing in opposite directions. And with careful attention paid to the carving of the box, with nicely rounded
