and there are descriptions relative to the exercise in pencil on back

and then fired their BB gun all over it (and surely took many additional shots that missed entirely)

the parts make a fair amount of clacking as they move

now certainly a work of art

Though I've photographed it in two segments, all of the pieces fit together to form one long linear whole, with the cutout at the left of each piece fitting one particular beak. Great old paint, terrific color, beautifully aged, just fabulous. 1920s 40s I would guess. 20 1 4" long x 3" tall x 1 8" thick when configured and in great condition.
