Early Bromo-Selzer World’s Fair Flip Book with Hula Dancer and Man with Headache! ministers box I especially love the stitchedThis flip book dates to 1939, made for the New York Wolds Fair as an advertising giveaway for Bromo Selzer, a headache cure. In one direction, a very unhappy looking man transforms into a widely smiling one, having a lightbulb moment midway through that leads to a good swig of the the liquid. In the other direction, just the pure pleasure of a hula dancer in grass skirt between two palm trees dancing away. Pretty classic, and pretty fun! 2 1 2 x 1 7
