Victorian Carved Shoe with Pinprick Decoration antique still bank holding paperclips and the likeI believe this one was carved to hold a pin cushion, and certainly could again, but It's a quite an excellent carved shoe exactly as it is. Lovely pin prick type detailing along the sides and back and toe, and an especially nicely done front, with six nails for lacing. Polychromed a reddish brown, perfectly aged. Late 19th early 20th c I believe. 5 1 2" l x 2 7 8" t x 1 1 2" w. Very good antique condition with a great patina.
