Looks to me that the subject is drying herself off after a dip in the stream, and finding her reflection there with a certain mythological feeling about it all, as if she were Narcissus, or Bathsheba. It also looks to me that this may be a photo of another photo, which was propped up against something and shot at a bit of angle, with the bottom edge of the original photo the white strip
