Ink / Ink Wash Drawing on Brown Paper in Old Frame brass pique nails but the more closely IMy photos do no justice to this drawing, as I was fighting glare to take them, and the character of the brown paper, which has the quality of a lightweight brown paper bag paper, doesn't come across but it makes the drawing richer (and the blacks are richer than one has a sense of here, too.) Anyway, I think it is quite a nice drawing, late 19th c. or so, which has an allegorical feeling about it with the shored boat looking abandoned, and it and its
