Instrument for perspective drawing Size:S: 40 x 30cm Interior of the Ford worksPlate 13 figure 1 from the paper 'Sketches and descriptions of three simple instruments for drawing architecture and machinery in perspective', by James Peacock, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, vol. 75 (1785), pp. 366 371. Instrument designed to prick holes in paper to coincide with points and angles on an original object being drawn. The instrument also enables the user to draw resulting perpendicular lines using a steel slider.
