though there are wisps of black raspberry

and the wine will need more time to flesh out and soften with cellar aging

the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Wraith leaps from the glass with gregarious black and red cherries

Peter Lauer, Schonfels Fass 11 GG Vintage:2020 South facingLauers 2020 Schonfels GG Fass 11 is deep, intense and pure on the still yeasty nose that exhibits ripe fruit intertwined with herbal floral and stony aromas. Crystalline and lean on the palate and with enormous length, this is a pure and refined, vegetal flavored dry Riesling with remarkable finesse and tension. More classic maybe than the richer van Volxem. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.
