There is a fabulous purity to the fruit and a lushness to the texture that lets you know

Over the last six months the 2004 Cristal has come together beautifully and is shaping up to be a truly great

It is thoughtfully balanced on the long-lingering finish with a tannic edge and lifting acidity

This and the Suchots are often Grivot’s best Vosne 1ers and so it is again in 2011

The color is medium ruby

Here too there is just enough oak influence to merit mentioning framing the elegant essence of poached plum, violet and soft spice wisps. The wood can also be found on the notably more refined and even better defined middle weight flavors that exhibit excellent punch and sneaky length.
