spice and warm toasty notes are front and center
hence my question mark
Since Clos des Goisses is already arguably Champagne's longest-lived wine
Before tasting this bottle

Launay Horiot, Pommard Rugiens Bas Vintage:2018 spice and warm toasty notes(from a . 09 ha parcel). There is just enough wood present to mention, framing the cool, pure and beautifully complex dark currant, red cherry, spice and whiff of the sauvage. As is usually the case with Rugiens, the big bodied flavors still manage to be finer than those of a typical Chaponnires and notably more mineralinflected while delivering superb depth and length. I very much like the mouth feel and this is both classy and stylish. 94 2027+
