I find them all quite charming and happiness inducing

5" d x 4" tall

and think these little vintage lacquer bowls would be great for holding measured ingredients about to be added to the pot

Soulful and Expressive Carved and Painted Owl daily diary so definitely not a masherA lot of soul in this one I think, looking a bit as if carrying the weight of the world on its shoulders. With a nice, craggily carved surface, perfectly enhanced by the dark gray paint, with yellow for the eyes and talons. Of a good scale and with a great presence, unfolding across 360 degrees. 7" t x 4" w x approx 4" d; 3 1 2" x 3 7 8" at base. Very good condition, second half 20th century I believe. Stands sturdy and flush.
