Handmade Gold Painted Art Nouveau Double Wall Shelf child's mug which in turn has beenId just been thinking of all of the magnificent art nouveau architectural elements and doorways in Paris when I came across this antique wooden double shelf, a wonderful homespun art nouveau moment. It has lost some of its original gold paint here and there, especially on the surfaces of the shelves, but I love it all the more for the wear and mellowing. There are two hangers on the back, one just above each shelf, for securing it to the wall, and
