Jack straws themselves average about 3 1/4” long and are in great shape

I believe it was likely a piece by Homer Gunn (1919-2001)

so as to be useable right away as a frame

W. Fletcher of Pepperell, MA c. 1870s. (Included in documentation is another from the set this came from, that one mounted with printed attribution on the board.) I've learned that William Henry Fox Talbot (18001877) was taking photographs
