I'm rather obsessed with this old German milk pitcher--I love the image of someone painstakingly painting all those rows of little blue triangles

giving the piece a great  handmade warmth and uniqueness

and it is one I handle pretty carefully as I believe it is really very old and somewhat fragile

this one I believe is from a Scientific Heritage kit distributed by Offer Development Co

Eskimo Art at the Artisans, Newbury Street 1970s Poster hand-painted wooden sign but also great just hungThis striking poster dates to the earlyish 1970s I believe, from an exhibition of "Eskimo Art" at the Artisans, a shop and gallery at 165 Newbury Street in Boston's Back Bay, which may, but I am not certain, have had an affiliation with the Society of Arts and Crafts, the address of which I believe was 175 Newbury Street at the time. While there is a bit of damage on the bottom edge, I think it's just a stunning thing that I think I would never tire
