1866 American Self Cutting and Fitting Yoke Pattern on Yellow Tissue Paper jack in the box and each pegI purchased this one from a great paper dealer in Adamstown, PA, drawn like a magnet to the lovely yellow, the lettering, and to the lyrical lines of the yoke patten, leading the eye up, over and around. The pattern, with instructions for use printed in both English and German, was produced in 1866 by Rosenthal's (a textiles merchant I presume) at 210 Market Street in downtown Philadelphia then the city's retail business hub, anchored by the High
