Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with red enameled arms joined through the outer quadrants by a circular white enameled ring, overlaid by a central black enameled German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with details highlighted in gilt, the reverse of the cross featuring a pebbled finish overlaid by a raised inscription of
