In gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, the obverse with an eagle flying over a landscape with a central fortress, topped by a radiant sun, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 30. 35 mm (w) x 46. 40 mm (h), weighing 15. 4
