Instituted October 22, 1960. In silvered bronze, a white enamelled five point star with ball finials, red enamels around the center medallion, reverse medallion features the enamelled flag of Senegal, measures 42. 2 mm (w) x 57. 6 mm (h inclusive of laurel leaf suspension), worn on original green ribbon with dual prongs on reverse, enamels intact, very fine. Contained in the original case of issue, a green leatherette
