(1905 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with WELTKRIEG 1914 1916 (WORLD WAR 1914 1916) clasp, the obverse with a central wreathed monogram of King Friedrich August III, the reverse with an inscription of FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE, within a wreathed of stylized oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 28. 48 mm
