A Police Palace Guard Helmet, C.1940 United Republic of Nürnberg-Berlin” and “Gesetzlich Geschützt” onA steel helmet featuring a stylized gilt five armed floral insignia affixed to the front, three rivets holding the chinstrap D rings on each side and at the back, through which a woven cloth chinstrap hangs through, three tongued burlap sections line the interior, a white strong connects the three sections, the front section stamped with Japanese characters, helmet shows moderate wear, and is in overall very fine condition.
