Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of a Viking longship, bearing a seated Athena holding an owl, situated above a Cologne coat of arms, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of UNIVERSITT DER HANSESTADT KLN 1388 1938 with a mobile swastika in place of the hyphen, unmarked, measuring 70 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
