A circular medal constructed of silver gilt, the obverse bears the inscription KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT) encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, the reverse bears the crowned cipher WR (Wilhelm Rex), measuring 24. 95 mm (w) x 29. 49 mm (h), with suspension loop on a black ribbon with whtie stripes, very fine.
