Germany, Luftstreitkräfte. A Prussian Pilot’s Badge certificate_of_authenticity Wittneben received an Iron Cross(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silver plated magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined at the bottom by a bowtie ribbon and topped by a German State Crown, with a central monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45. 77 mm (w) x 71. 01 mm (h), weighing 12. 3 grams, in very fine condition.
