Constructed of silvered and patinated feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a stylized lightning bolt emanating from a cloud and striking the ground, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with an integrated barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round integrated catch, unmarked, measuring 43. 54 mm (w) x 56. 76 mm
