Description
Birchall and his three other crew were taken to the town prison
with marks common to extraction and return to the scabbard
this Medal was ceased of awarding when the Bravery Medal was created couple years later
consisting of a silver gilt and white enamelled pisan cross with green and red enamelled oak leave clusters between each arm
