Constructed of coppered bronze, obverse depicts Leopold and Frederica seated and flanked by figures holding wedding crowns, with top inscription IN LIEB UND TREU EIN VORBILD UNS (IN LOVE AND FAITH A MODEL FOR US), above dates 18 April 1818 1843 and inscription DESSAU'S RATH UND BUERGER (DESSAUS COUNCIL AND CITIZENS), reverse with raised rightward facing profiles of Leopold and Frederica circumscribed by names and titles,
