Germany, Luftwaffe. An Observer’s Badge Presentation Case Newly Listed Private Astley embarked from Melbourne(Beobachterabzeichen Kasten). A period original case consisting of a hard shelled, navy blue exterior with Beobachterabz. stamped in gilt Gothic script on the lid, a blue velveteen interior lining of the slotted medal bed, with functional magnetic hinge and catch, measuring 78 mm (w) x 78 mm (l) x 23 (h), exterior shows wear, and in very fine condition.
