A silver medal, the obverse presenting the bust of Franz Joseph I, while the reverse bears the inscription DER TAPFERKEIT surrounded by a wreath, measures 40. 5mm (w) x 44. 2mm (h), weighs 19. 8 grams (including ribbon), dark patina, several notable edge knocks, in very fine condition.
