Germany, Third Reich. A Kriegsmarine Issue Kuban Campaign Shield Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic dated "1939" beside the maker's(Kubanschild der Kriegsmarine). Instituted September 21st, 1943. (1943 1944 issue). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a stylized map of the Kuban region, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1943, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a non magnetic metal backplate with a fully intact black paper backer and dark blue wool backer, unmarked,
