Scarce Ustasha Defense Badge Archive The front is completed byScarce Ustasha Defense Badge Badge in aluminum, measures 43mm(w) x 57mm(h), numbered on reverse, without pin, in good fair condition. Unmarked, though it is known "Braca Knaus" was the sole maker of this scarce badge. Ustasha Defense badge was worn by the members of the "Ustasha Defense" Units, whose primary role was the security and policing of the POW and Labor camps in Croatia during WWII; among the camps were Jasenovac, Stara Gradiska, and others.
