In bronze gilt, the obverse bearing Franz Joseph, the reverse bearing the inscription DER TAPFERKEIT, with older style Stielhenkelose suspension, measures 40. 1mm in diameter, worn on original ribbon demonstrating heavy wear and fraying of white silk, heavy gilt wear, and edge bruising, in near very fine condition.
