and one that feels rather spiritual

great from head to toe--from those hand-painted black and white eyes almost on the very top of its head

It is in very good condition

This hand thrown sugar bowl--which would also be great for keeping jam

I especially love the border of tiny little arrows and the wonderful sculptural berry shaped handle at the center

Edvard Lindahl for Gustavsberg Sweden Stoneware Owl minimalist and one that feels ratherThis charming little stoneware owl is one in a trio designed by Edvard Lindahl for Gustavsberg Sweden in the 1960s. Lindahl (1907 1986 ) was a cartoonist, set designer, illustrator, sculptor and woodcarver. In the 1960's, Lindahl did work for both Rrstrand and Gustavsberg. He made drawings of stoneware for Rrstrand, and his well known owls made at the Gustavsberg Studio. His art is represented at the National Museum and Malm and Eskilstuna Museums.
