I have long admired these sorts of tiles-- produced in the 18th and 19th century during the Qajar period in Persia--which very frequently feature hunters on horses like this one

With its great color scheme

engaged in various activities

but it definitely has some years on it

Carved Wooden Spoon with Curvy, Hooked Handle large textile looking a bit startledI just love this old carved wooden spoon, which feels as much like a sculpture as a utilitarian object, with this great snake like handle terminating in a hooked end, making it easy to hang. It's nice and substantial, and one could use it as a tasting or a serving spoon or, if you're hungry, use it to eat your soup or stew! It's definitely got some years on it, but remains in good condition with some aging to the wood as pictured. 8" long x 2 1 2"
